Cymatic Textiles
Collaboration with threeAsfour2017
These digitally printed textiles are derived from 3D explorations of cymatic patterns, produced for threeAsfour's Spring 2017 collection Quantum Vibrations. Each pattern is scripted to fluctuate between two conditions—producing dynamic color gradations that respond to the different silhouettes of the collection. Fourteen different patterns are arranged per print according to a fibonacci spiral, transforming in sync with the different pattern cuts necessary for production.
