Texo Door

The Texo door is a reinterpretation of a traditional Japanese Shoji Screen for a kindergarten in Kobe Japan. Using a 3D printed PLA in place of paper, the project combines the traditional craft and design of the wood frame with a patterning system evocative of traditional Sashiko stitching. Texo Door is a collaboration with Japanese maker Yaitopale.
